  1. If the link doesn't work...

"Why is this woman smiling and how it can make a difference in your life?

A smile is such a great thing. In fact it can change everything. But in the end a smile is just a smile unless it has a lot of meaning behind it. So what's behind this smile? Is it happiness? No doubt about it. Here's how I know. You see one day the woman in this picture walked into my clinic and introduced herself - Stephanie May. We talked about health and healing and I told her about my vision. I've been looking at this whole healthcare thing for quite some time and it's obvious to me and probably to you...Tahoe City needed a place to go where people can go for pain relief using all natural methods. And to best serve our community we needed to offer a variety of techniques along with the high quality chiropractic care that you expect when you stop by the clinic. So along with a growing group of natural healthcare professionals Stephanie decided to contribute her expertise, knowledge and passion for health to our circle of health. That made me smile because after I took a long look at her education, credentials and certifications I knew that she would be able to help us meet your expectations.

***I want to be sure there's something for you to smile about too but hang on, here's a few of her qualifications:

Her formal education consists of tons of personal training and group fitness certifications through AAAI/ISMA, FiTour/ACE, NASM/The Rush and Aaron Mattes. She has a Bachelor's from Western State Colorado University in Exercise and Sport Science. She studied massage therapy at the Center for Rehabilitative Education (C.O.R.E.) Massage Institute School and immediately following graduation, pursued a 10 month structural re-integration, active release and neuromuscular therapy study. She's a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and the American College of Sports Medicine. Here's one more, she's Board Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

But really the thing that's most important is that she knows what you're going through. You see, as an athlete growing up and throughout adulthood, Stephanie has suffered from many injuries over the years, without much relief from traditional medicine. This led her to pursue a career in exercise and sports science, massage therapy and structural re-integration. So the bottom line is she has over a decade of experience in chiropractic theory, physical therapy, personal training and fitness. I feel lucky to have met Stephanie and see her smile because now our community can benefit from her practice in sports and medical therapies such as: natural pain relief; corrective exercise; athletic recovery and conditioning; sinus, migraine and TMJ dysfunction; and flexibility for injury prevention.

Now here's something to make you smile...Steph wants to meet you too. You can call for an appointment any time but on Tuesday May 20th she is hosting a special day. If you call before all the spots are gone you can spend some time with Steph and she will give you a quick fitness assessment (no sweat) and put together a Home Plan of Care. How much? Nothing -nada. She's not charging you a thing on that day. She wants to give something back to this community that makes her so happy. Not only that, she is putting together some food, healthy smoothies, free raffle tickets, door prizes and gifts bags. Not bad huh? That's what I thought too. [She wants to help you] figure out a good way to get the best out of this great lifestyle that we have. Doesn't that sound like fun? Yep. I'm smiling."
